Method 1: MIUI System Updater (Recommended)

The safest way to update the app on Xiaomi phones is through the native system apps updater:

  1. Open your phone's Settings menu.
  2. Tap on System apps updater.
  3. Scroll through the list to find Music.
  4. Tap the Update button. The installation will happen automatically in the background.

Method 2: Via GetApps Store

If the system updater isn't showing the latest version, force a check using Xiaomi's app store:

  1. Open the GetApps application on your home screen.
  2. Tap on the Me tab at the bottom right.
  3. Select App updates.
